Our Story

Built in 1925. Ready for its next century.

The building that would become The Park Hotel on the Plaza was originally the Park Lane Apartments, completed in 1925 in the Spanish Revival style that defines the Country Club Plaza. For a hundred years, its limestone façades, arched colonnades, and the words "Pride of the Plaza" carved into its original elevators have been a fixture of the neighborhood's skyline.

Under Charter Holdings and the Tapestry Collection by Hilton, every detail of that heritage is being carefully honored — and elevated. The result is an accommodation that feels unmistakably rooted in Kansas City history while offering the comfort and thoughtfulness today's traveler expects.
